Not CW just some unidentified carrier..
its been speculated to be a talk through system being triggered by noise of some sort. with thanks to martin from aceblaggard youtube channel
Nothing new here, this is a regular occurance and I think is already on youtube, I hear it daily here in IO52, coming from 125 degrees East...
Nice receiver but greedy, also spare battery are no longer available
I was thinking about getting one to use around 400mhz, did you ever test it?
Yea it needs to have variable gain and filtering
I remember hearing something like this but at a previous address. Can you get a recording in FM mode? The sweeping signal I heard was around 31.975 / 31.995MHz. I'm going back a few years now
why dont you just decode it?> its not that hard!
tried it wouldn't do it im not really sure its even morse

I’ve got the opposite problem. My lid won’t close. I’ll see if I can do reverse.
Not finding much for this one apart from clock oscillators
There seams to be protocol between the beeps
decent prop today
Thank you for sharing. I have a differnet model, but it worked just as well.
I'll put £100 on that being Scandinavian in origin either Swedish or Norwegian.
Probably there was a lot of Scandinavian fm stations
@@raybokor2 that'll be £100 then
@@Scotscan 100lb of spuds
@@raybokor2 thanks, that'll do nicely

Can you tell me what time you made this recording, we are trying to find out who it was. Kind regards, Electron FM, the Netherlands
uk 19.45 .
Okay Ray, thnx thats NL time 20:45. As a new member of your channel, I hope to see more of these video's (84.0- 87.5MHz) in the future. Thank you. k.r. Marc
@@ElectronFMUdenNL i have a group on facebook dedicated to fm dx from 25 to 108mhz i will certainly be looking out for them as this is my first catch of a NL pirate on the fm band ..... facebook.com/groups/583633869235793
There are a lot of pirates (from the Netherlands) between the 84.0 and 87.5 mhz Fm stereo (almost each day)
At first time i think you decode me on 145.000 ¡¡¡¡ 73s EA1UR
no it was 40.680 mhz that is the wjst program setting its not connected to the icr8600 sdr console is connected to the radio
if you look at the video time 0.33 you will see the frequency on sdr console
@@raybokor2 YES, i realize later , but at first glance at movil phone, i thought, what happened here?. Later i see "Virtual Cable" then y understood what happened. Many thanks 73s
that is only the second time i have heard ft8 on the 40mhz band im pleased that you have seen your signal in to eston /Middlesbrough . i have the north York moors (1000ft hill 1/2 mile )directly behind me so propagation from the south is rare on vhf
@@RicardoBrion my pleasure Ricardo
8m, did you try to TX?
That's sounds oddly like selcal paging as heard on shanwick Oceanic
This is apparently one of the many new Russian channel markers. There are maybe a dozen operating on the 6200 kHz - 6525 kHz marine allocation alone. They’re also on 6911 kHz and 6930 kHz. Sounds include a “buzz” like the original “Buzzer” on 4625 kHz, the pip sound you’ve got here, what sounds like a tick-tock or a tennis ball being hit back and forth, various other recordings including an air raid siren, an alarm going off and of course music…including Soviet military songs, modern Russian patriotic music and the Soviet / Russian National Anthem…among many others. Signal Phantom and lots of other folks have heard these signals - here’s one on 7032 kHz USB captured by Signal Phantom… ua-cam.com/video/KnPlxhhGBps/v-deo.htmlsi=m7i9keggEJSI_UyE
There seem to be several of these on/around the 40.66 MHz - 40.70 MHz band. I’ve heard lots of POCSAG and POCSAG-like signals while listening to VHF low band on UK based receivers. I’m not sure where they’re coming from, but the band seems to be open to central/southern Europe when these signals come in. Like the Greek pager on 31.150 MHz is there, lots and lots of paging activity on 26-27 MHz plus 29.800 MHz / 29.900 MHz and other frequencies.
Australia still has some pagers for within large facilities that use 40.680MHz and various modulation systems.
Could be Asian fishery comms - 27.5 MHz to 39.5 MHz in 25 kHz steps, FM. Some radios do 12.5 kHz steps. I’ve heard them on 28.875 MHz FM, 29.100 MHz FM, 29.150 MHz FM, 28.975 MHz FM, below 28MHz on 27.750 MHz FM, 27.5125 MHz FM, 27.875 MHz FM, above 10m on 29.750, 29.775, 29.800, 29.825, 29.850, 29.875, 29.9375, 29.950, 29.9625, 29.975, and even more frequencies above 30 MHz
😂🎉
Incidentally, it is not 'traffic signal data', but a wide area street lighting control system.
Very strong today. Also 31.975
2m satellite beacon?
Hmm nothing listed for that. Strange freq
Found out its some. Local Cloudy brians with dirty transmissions
✌️💫🦸
C4FM beacon / calling / brief QSO frequency :-)
29.250 is a C4FM frequency used for calling .
C4FM beacon I believe
Thanks for the shout out! Be interested in how you get on with it. I have tried mine on ADSB 1090 Ghz but doesn't seem to have much gain on there! 73
how did it work on other bands
Misspelling impedance says it all imp p p pedance
ive seen worse speelings 🤣🤣🤣
hello donna
Nice catch
Nice one Ray.
Not the best then 😂
Hi Ray I want that
If only there was a service manual for it!
Might be tempted to add to the collection Ray
I know which one will be on frequency 😂
I have one of these receivers from new but it never got any use at all as I couldn’t figure it out. Ground breaking for its day I’m told.
Looks like it covers the right frequencies
Looks like European TV channels line ups in VHF low and Hi channel 1 to 12 "48 to 88 and 174 to 215 MHz, from looks of it.😎
Those were the days. Remember when this radio came out back in the 90s
Thanks Ray!
Picked up one a few weeks ago. Needs some TLC as it’s not working off batteries but seems to work ok otherwise. Not a bad rx.
i have a new facia to go on it and a battery lid . you probably need to battery adapter its a plate that goes in the battery compartment to make it compatible with normal batteries' ive ordered some new parts for mine this week
Just uploaded a vid about the battery issue
Is it studio monitor pls
